Another Place To Play

                   What is it that makes some people wake up each day with a smile and a happy heart ? They come right out of bed with a spring in their step and a song in their heart ! What the fuck is it ? Because you can take another person of the same age , same situations in their lifes , and this one is totally different . He wakes up mad at the world , pissed off for no reason . And as the day wears on , he just gets more out of sync .Thats also where the self medicating comes from . I need to ease this burden on me…..I buy some drugs , some alcohol , okay , now we are getting somewhere . I feel happy now !!

I think we all like Tuesday , for some odd reason . Two for Tuesday , Tumblr Tuesday , and Im sure there are many more . But its just a cool day ! Today everything is fresh from the rain yesterday and its almost like the slate is wiped clean ! Thats silly though and I am obviously hurting for something to write about . I think I will take a walk and give it some thought .

           Tomorrow , today , what is the difference ? Its all the same fucking day ! ( quote by Janis Joplin ) Since I started playing with my computer I have been checking out all these sites like Tumblr , Blogger ,Google Reader , etc. . I read the posts and different blogs , but I still dont get it . I have even been sharing some of my thoughts , but is that how you do it ? I just dont get it . I can “talk” on this key board all day , unload my woes , and my joys . I will keep trying , maybe I will get it .

How many of you have heard that till your blue in the face ? Geez , but shit if it aint true ! Thats all any of us can do in this crazy ass world !! I can truly understand why some people go postal , psycotic , after  I watched the news for more than 10 minutes … our world is in serious hurt . The natural disasters , the human disasters , its a bit much . If you were a person inclined to believe all is hopeless , a nay sayer , then your stage is set . For those of us that look for good in any situation , buckle up , we are in for a ride !

             The brick mason . 4 generations of one father passing on his trade . They are proud of who they are and what they stand for . Professionalism , courtesy , quality craftsmanship , are traits bred into them . They stand behind every job they do .

           The winds of change blow . In walks another people , people who have fled their own country and illegally entered ours . They need jobs , to send money home to the families they left behind . They are willing to work for far less than what we are being paid . They ” quickly ” learn how to lay a block and the bosses hire them . The quality of the work goes way down , but who cares !!? the job got done .

           Where does the brick mason go ? What does he teach his son ? Unemployment . That soon runs out . What does a 55 year old tradesman do when he no longer has a trade ?  The chain is broken .

                  Well I was too happy with Arizonas new bill ! I only wish California would follow suit . We need some reform here . Hell ! look at our Govenor ! He is a joke and we all know it . Not to mention , he isnt even from California , he hails from New York . Oh heck , lets just ignore it all and we will hope it goes away ??! Thats what weve been doing and look at us now . I need to get off this subject and move on . I will hope that my little vote really does matter .

            Is the whole world crazy , or am I ? I am just straight baffled actually . Seems we got to watch every lil thing we say or we will offend someone , somewhere . I grew up in Central Calif. , agricultural capital of the world . There is a high concentration of Mexicans , as they seem to like farm labor . I can honestly say that I know what a wetback ( illegal mexican ) looks like . They have a very distinct way of talking , dressing , hell ! , everything ! And anybody whos been around them damn well knows it . No matter how hard they try to act American , it dont work . You can see right through it ! But some asshole in Arizona said were stereotyping . Fuck ! And were violating their civil rights ? What rights ? You have to be a citizen to have rights .

      I need a place to unwind . Ive been writting my autobiography and I am not so sure that I want to finish . I write it all out on paper , and then I slowly type it . I dont know how to type very well . So , its not easy . And the writting part ….. well , its taking me down alot of old roads that I havent walked in a long time . Memory lane , it is not painful , its just the nostalgia . I watched a movie called ” The Lather Effect ” and it kinda felt a kinship with those folks . Except , I never knew when to stop ! And I dont have any friends left from High School . My dearest friends are lifers in California prisons . And Ill never see them again .

      But back to the writting . Its kinda getting to me having to remember every little thing and in what sequence . It aint as easy as it sounded when I first took this on . I was hoping to make a lil bit of money on it , because I thought most of the people liked hearing about women in prison . All the juicey details ! I dont know , we will see .
